![]() ![]() Colleen was genius in the way she told the story alternating past and present. But All Your Perfects was so well-written, despite my melancholy mood, I couldn’t stop reading it. We have had some really rough patches in our marriage, so maybe some of it just hit too close to home for me. ![]() While the ending made it worth it, I am super glad I didn’t read it on vacation like I planned, because it put me in a bit of a depression for a couple of days. ![]() All Your Perfects is not an easy read by any stretch of the imagination. So I knew to expect amazing writing and a TON of emotion. Colleen has been one of my top favorite authors since she first published Slammed (She was at the very first Wicked Book Weekend in February 2013). (Spoiler alert!) I liked that Medea finally realized she could walk away from a toxic friendship. One of the things I liked about this book was the relationship between Medea and Glauce. With first crushes, rivalries, and a plot to steal the Golden Fleece, this retelling of the Ancient Greek story is a fun, swashbuckling adventure. But after a class assignment goes wrong, Medea and Glauce find themselves stuck aboard the Argos in the middle of the ocean. In this installment, Medea and her frenemy Glauce get permission to go to Mount Olympus Academy. My kids just "discovered" this series recently and have been consumed with reading them. This is the twenty-third book in the Goddess Girls series! Wow! That's a lot of books. A cute and fun reimagining of the tale of Jason and the golden fleece. ![]() |
